In addition to my recent leadership experience in higher education, I held product management and strategy roles in Silicon Valley, Chicago, and Dulles (VA), where I led strategic initiatives, cross-functional teams, and high-impact projects.
Netscape/AOL: Served as Senior Product Manager for AOL Small Business and Netscape (Homepage, Sports, and Special Events), leading strategic initiatives and high-profile partner integrations with Fortune, CNN, and Time Magazine. Managed a $12M American Express partnership and executed cross-platform media plans, while driving end-to-end product development across channels to maximize engagement and revenue.
Microsoft: Drove market development for client solutions through digital, multi-platform initiatives for Microsoft strategic partners—including General Mills, Wal-Mart, McDonald’s, BlackBerry, and AT&T—collaborating with sales and account teams to design strategic product and advertising solutions, including integrations, custom programs and sponsorships.
Yahoo: Managed the Yahoo! Front Page and the cross-property strategy for the Yahoo! Network access points. Defined requirements and managed implementation of new features. Extensive work with both qualitative and quantitative research.
Led a five-person Yahoo Autos product team, driving annual revenue from $50M to $90M+ and elevating market share from #7 to #1. Defined and executed product vision and strategy, managing cross-property initiatives across Yahoo Real Estate, Shopping and Travel. Directed Yahoo Homepage redesigns, consistently surpassing engagement and revenue targets through data-driven testing, optimization and strategic partner alignment.
